Terms of Use
These terms are between you and DRYAS Studio (“we”), and they cover your use of the Poof app. By using Poof you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
1. Poof is support, not medical care
Poof helps you through cravings and keeps you company while you quit. It is not a medical device or a medical service, and it doesn’t give medical advice. Nothing in the app replaces a doctor, a pharmacist or a quit-line.
- Talk to a doctor before you quit if you’re pregnant, have a heart or mental-health condition, or take regular medication. Nicotine withdrawal can affect some medicines.
- Ask a doctor or pharmacist about nicotine replacement or other treatments.
- If you feel unsafe, or have thoughts of harming yourself, contact local emergency services straight away.
2. Who can use Poof
You must be old enough to buy nicotine where you live, and at least 18. Poof is rated 17+ on the App Store.
3. Your data
Your quit data stays on your phone. See the Privacy Policy. You’re responsible for your device and its backups; if you delete the app without a backup, we can’t restore your data.
4. Poof Plus, trials and refunds
- Free: Poof’s core (the pet and the Hill, craving help, check-ins, the slip scene, your streak, money saved, widgets and danger-zone warnings) is free, and stays free.
- Poof Plus is optional. It’s sold as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app, in your local currency.
- Free trial: the yearly plan comes with a 7-day free trial. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it becomes a paid yearly subscription.
- Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple charges your Apple ID account.
- Cancelling: you can cancel at any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. You keep Plus until the period you’ve paid for ends.
- Refunds: “Not helping? Get your money back.” Apple handles all App Store payments, so Apple handles refunds. In Settings → Plus → Request a refund, we take you straight to Apple’s refund form. Apple makes the final decision under its own rules. We can’t refund App Store purchases ourselves. See quitwithpoof.com/refund.
- Restore: reinstalled the app or got a new phone? Tap Restore purchases.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t copy, reverse-engineer or resell the app or its art, and don’t use it to break any law. Poof, the Hill and all the art and writing in the app belong to us and are protected by copyright and trademark law.
6. No guarantee of outcome
Quitting is hard, and everyone’s path is different. We’ll do our best to help, but we can’t promise any result. Poof is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.
7. Changes and ending
We may update Poof and these terms. For meaningful changes we’ll tell you in the app. You can stop using Poof at any time by deleting it.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, unless the consumer law where you live says otherwise.
